General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

1. Scope

These terms and conditions apply to the use of the online platform ki-search.ch, which consists of the following modules:

  • Sales portal (classifieds)
  • Industry directory (company entries)
  • Auction platform (auction of goods and services)

The contractual partner is ki-search.ch, after referred to as “ki-search.ch”.

2. Registration & User Account

Use of the platform requires registration. Users agree to provide truthful information and keep their data up to date.

3. Services of the provider

  • Providing an online platform for publishing advertisements, company listings and auctions.
  • No guarantee for the constant availability of the platform.
  • The provider is not a party to the contract between buyers and sellers.

4. Terms of Use

  • No inadmissible content (eg offensive, racist, illegal content)
  • No misuse of the platform for illegal or anti-competitive purposes
  • Commercial providers must be marked as such

5. Module-specific regulations

Sales portal:
  • Ads may only concern real, available properties
  • Offers must be complete, truthful and transparent
Business directory:
  • Entries may only concern existing companies
  • Logos, images and descriptions must comply with the guidelines
Auction platform:
  • Bids are binding
  • The provider only provides the technical infrastructure; contracts are concluded directly between the provider and the bidder

6. Fees

  • The use of certain functions may be subject to a fee (eg premium entries, highlight function)
  • Prices are displayed transparently on the platform

7. Liability

  • The provider is not liable for user content
  • In case of intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty, the provider is liable in accordance with the statutory provisions

8. Termination

  • Users can delete their account at any time
  • The provider may block or delete the account in case of violations of these terms and conditions

9. Changes to the Terms and Conditions

The provider reserves the right to change the terms and conditions. Users will be informed accordingly.
